Underground Ltd. is reviewing the training that it provides for its
Station Assistants and as a result has a need to train a number of coaches from around the
business. Ideally you should be D32 qualified, but this is not essential. What is
important is that you are available early in the new year.
In the longer term, they will also be looking for people who are interested in becoming
a mentor to some of their full-time trainers, to help them develop their skills. This
would involve sitting-in with trainers, providing feedback and "coaching".
Again, ideally you need to be an NVQ qualified coach, but this is not essential. What is
important is an interest in helping develop these trainers who have some reasonable
delivery skills, but need help in getting up to speed with more interactive training
techniques.
This opportunity is particularly suitable for anyone running a limited company. Daily
rate is £400. If you are not a limited company, you would need to sign up with an agency,
who would deduct tax/NI etc at source. The advantage is that it is good for cash flow -
payment is made via a timesheet, and the money is usually in the bank on the Thursday of
the week following the week that you worked (e.g., if I submitted a timesheet for this
week, I should be paid by next Thursday).
Any interest, please call Paul Mason on 07803 728738 BEFORE Christmas
This, just in from Philip, which some of you may already be aware of...
Auditions
From: Sold Out Trainers <info@soldout-trainers.com>
My name is Peter Rice of Sold Out Trainers and we will be holding auditions for
independent facilitators
to cover a broad range of 'Soft skills' subjects.
You need to be a very special person and although experience is valuable we are more
interested in
the style of a trainer.
If your idea of training is to control us, deliver a lecture and use 55 slides in a
darkened room, then I think
this not the opportunity for you.
But if you are credible, your audition is interactive, fun and you are able to gain our
trust and you can
teach us something at the same time, then we would love too see you.
Please email me and we can tell you about the auditions
